BookCove is an online destination for "solo" producers of digital books and texts. There are several sites for working as part of a group to produce digital books, However, there is also a need for individuals working alone to have access to tools and resources to help them produce digital books on their own. BookCove aims to provide such tools and resources.
The site is organized based on activities: in the Library users can view or download public domain books produced using the site's tools. In the Factory, users can see how the site’s tools can be used to produce more texts working from the original scans. Books can be produced for this site or for related sites. Some tools are available for use online. Some software tools are downloadable.
